The Davis Acoustics Maya speaker is a high-performance model, equipped with 17 cm diameter bass and midrange speakers. The woofer uses a cellulose membrane, while the 17 cm midrange speaker has a lighter, stiffer fiberglass membrane. This rigid and light material offers a very good transient and a low mechanical deformation: optimal qualities for a rigorous reproduction of music. The tweeter is a 2.5 cm domed cloth dome with wide spatial diffusion. With its circular front vent, the Davis Acoustics Maya can be installed against a wall without prejudice to the serious register. However, it is advisable to observe a distance of about 30 cm.With a frequency response of 45 Hz to 21 kHz, the Davis Acoustics Maya speaker can work seamlessly without a subwoofer and is equally suitable for Hi-Fi and home theater listening.
